In a society never more conscious of the need for World peace, why is it we struggle so much to simply get on with our neighbours at home and at work? Do we really set out to upset people or is it that those people who have a knack of creating friction just don't know what they are doing? They lack a certain maturity or depth of understanding human behaviour and reactions. Why is it these people are often the ones who will undertake some random act of kindness and leave the rest of us wondering who they really are? I guess that it is just about being human. What our colleagues do is part of the lesson that we must learn in how to get on with each other. It is part of our own maturity continuum. By knowing how to respond to unusual behaviour and learning to accept the diverse nature of our environments, we are then able to coach the younger people coming through similar journeys.
